WESCO's Around-the-Clock Service Minimizes Downtime at ARCO's Fire-Damaged Refinery
Through expedited service and support, WESCO was able to minimize ARCO's refinery downtime following a fire causing $2.2 million in damage. To help get its alliance partner's refinery back to full production after a major fire forced the shutdown of a key coker unit, WESCO provided 24-hour service and support and formulated an emergency response plan to ensure the immediate delivery of needed supplies.

- Rapidly developing equipment sourcing and delivery plans
- Alerting key suppliers and other WESCO branches that their support could be required
- Delivering needed supplies within an hour of order receipt
