Many of our customers actively pursue a diverse supplier base that can add value to their businesses and help achieve long-term growth objectives through viable supplier diversity programs. WESCO is able to support these objectives by providing Tier 2 reports to our customers in order for them to manage their compliance, monitor progress, and meet specific procurement diversity program goals. Supplier requirements:
Thank you for your interest in WESCO’s Commitment to Diversity Program. To be eligible to participate in our Program, your company must be 51% owned, operated, and controlled by a United States citizen who satisfies the ownership requirements as a woman, minority, small, hub zone, veteran, disabled, or a disadvantaged individual and/or group.The diversity principal business owner must also be certified. Certification of minority and ownership status is required. WESCO accepts certification documents from the following:
- Municipal or State Purchasing Departments
- NMSDC - National Minority Supplier Development Council
- NWBOC - National Women Business Owners Corporation Network
- WBENC - Women's Business Enterprise National Council
- WMBEC - Women & Minority Business Enterprise Clearinghouse
- SBA - Small Business Administration

To register as a diverse supplier in WESCO’s Commitment to Diversity Program, please visit our website at www.wesco.com and follow the links to our Supplier Diversity page. After successfully completing the online registration, your information will be entered into our corporate supplier diversity database for use with future opportunities.
